Retrofits

We help our customers keep up with their ever-changing needs. Among those needs have been retrofitting HARPS, including the economizers, superheaters and evaporators. Under our umbrella organization and keeping with our mission to be a single-source provider, we work closely with our sister company, TEiC Construction Services, combining our skills and expertise to provide comprehensive, turnkey long-term alternative solutions.

Our HARP design is generally recommended in cases where site access is limited; the loose HARP reduces the pre-assembly process.

Features:

Less pre-assembly: HARPS are transported individually.

Benefits:

Allows construction where access is limited and allows shipping using conventional road transportation, resulting in earlier delivery; lowered equipment price and lightens heavy equipment needs.

Offering complete assemblies/modules/harps/panels for in-kind applications or retrofit applications such as serpentine designs where the service demands a more robust solution.

Offering repair or complete redesign for the specific needs of the plant, specializing in meeting the required flow distribution with a robust, proven design capable of standing up to the most rigorous installations.

Replacement of in-kind, upgrade, alloyed improvement.

Replacement and redesign of casing and/or liner that may become damaged or degraded due to inadequate OEM design or unforeseen operating conditions. Can be supplied as an in-kind replacement or upgraded as the application demands.

Including attic, basement, center nose-cone or side-wall baffles.

Complete service from nozzle replacement to retrofit of the entire attemperator spool including spray nozzles, drain pots and valve including thermal/mechanical analysis of the whole system. Emissions, higher load, improved efficiency.

Upgrade, replacement, combined systems to improve efficiency and output from the unit. Ammonia injection distribution.

Specialized and highly engineered equipment for freeze protection or fast-starts.

Offering replacement including redesign and material upgrades if the application calls for it.

Offering the capability to determine the adequacy of all drum internals for adequate steam separation across all ambient load ranges and operating points.
